Real name is Masamichi. Makes pottery at Tokoji-gama kiln, which makes Hagi ware in Choshu. Inherited the name from the first Geirin, who made his name through donations to the imperial family, and the second Geirin, who reconciled yakishime pottery with the secret process of making Karatsu ware; he is the third Geirin. Has been selected for and won awards at the West Japan Ceramics Exhibition, the Asahi Ceramics Exhibition, the Yamaguchi Prefecture Exhibition, etc. Focuses on colored Hagi ware, Karatsu ware.
