Completed training at the National Kyoto Ceramics Research Center. Later trained at Tobe Pottery, which was run by his father. Set up independently in 1952. Won the Issuikai Prize at the Issuikai Exhibition. Won the Prefectural Exhibition Art Association Prize. Won the Honorable Mention at the New Artists’ Craft Exhibition and is a member.
