Also known as Ohi Choami the 3rd. From Kanazawa City. Graduated from the Department of Science and Engineering at Nihon University. Trained at the Kyoto Ceramics Training School and Industrial Research Center. Later learned from his grandfather Ohicho Ami. Built a kiln in 1979. Has held solo exhibitions in Nagaoka, Niigata Daiwa, and Shinjuku Odakyu. Has held a three-generation family exhibition at Yokohama Takashimaya. Focuses on Ohiraku ware, natural glaze fired in a cave kiln, and tenmoku glaze.
