Studied under his father, Ryu. Entered Kanazawa Art University in 1985. Awarded the Superintendent of Education Award at the Kanagawa High School Art Festival. Awarded the Mayor of Takasaki City Award at the Gunma Prefectural Exhibition. Won the special Grand Prize at the Yamanashi Zokubi Exhibition, the Governor’s Prize among others. Selected for the Nitten Exhibition.
