Born in Gunma Prefecture. Studied under his father, Kofu and Yasuhara Yoshiaki, and later inherited the Kofu kiln. Awarded the Jomo Newspaper Award at the Gunma Prefectural Exhibition along with other awards. He was a judge and a permanent board member. Obtained a Commemorative and Member’s award, and was a judge and councilor for the Japan Contemporary Art Exhibition. Selected for consecutive Nitten awards and is a friend of the Society. Secretary General of the Shinseikai among others. Objet and string structures.
