From Hyogo Prefecture. Entered pottery from tea ceremonies. Studied under Ono Tohiro of Sodeshigama Kiln in Shimane. Later set up Yumesakigama Kiln in Yumesaki, Himeji, Banshu. Selected for the Women’s Ceramics Exhibition and became a member in 1975. Has won the Kansai Art and Culture Exhibition Newcomer’s Prize, the Kyoto Education Committee Prize, etc. Has been selected for the Asahi Ceramics Exhibition and the Japan Ceramics Exhibition. Has exhibited her works as part of the Women’s Ceramics Selected Exhibition at Kyoto Tachikichi, Tosenbo G, and Umeda Daimaru. Has held solo exhibitions at Osaka Takashimaya and elsewhere. Focuses on cinnabar, lapis lazuli and white glaze, and objects of art.
