Son of Nagahama Kazuuemon. From Aikawa, Sado. Graduated from Tajimi Industrial High School. Graduated from the Sculpture Department of Musashino Art University. First selected for the Japan Fine Arts Exhibition in 1966. Selected for the Japan Modern Crafts Exhibition and is a member; won the Members’ Commemoration Prize and is a judge. Member of Modern Crafts Niigata. Member of Hokusho. Focuses on Sado Karatsu ware.
