Graduated from Tokyo Designer Gakuin. Apprenticed at Mashiko Daigen-gama kiln and Iga Nishiyama Kilns, and hatsugama (first fire work at the kiln in the year) in 1980 at Hitachi Kiln in Tokofukuji, Ibaraki. Won a prize at the Shin-Keishusha exhibition and was a member of the Society. Awarded a prize at the Kanagawa Prefectural Exhibition. Member of the Kanagawa Prefecture Art Association. Solo exhibitions at Roppongi Pottery Salon So, Mito Shimizu Gallery and others. Mainly in Iga ware.
