Born in Hiroshima Prefecture. Graduated from Tokai University and Tokyo Institute of Technology. Trained for Korean pottery style at Rakuzan-gama kiln in Yokkaichi, and later moved to Kasama, Ibaraki Prefecture. Has held solo exhibitions at Shinjuku Odakyu and Mitsukoshi Department Store in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, and others. Mainly works with red glaze.
