Joined the Yamaguchi Ceramic Club and started making ceramics around 1967. Studied under Kawanami Hiroshi. Started a kiln named Tokiwa kiln on her property in 1977. Selected for the Women’s Association of Ceramic Art Exhibition and Yamaguchi Prefectural Exhibition. Former member of the Toyokai. Works focus on tea bowls made using Daido clay from the prefecture.
