From Bizen. Real name is Toshio. Sought to make ceramics around 1947. Studied under Yamamoto Toshu in 1949. Worked at a local brick company during this time. After studying at Kaneshige Ritoen, became independent in 1972. Selected for the Japan Traditional Craft Art Exhibition and other exhibitions. Held private exhibitions at the Seibu in Ikebukuro and other venues.
