From Yokohama. Started studying under Tsuji Seimei at Renkoji in 1960 and trained for over 15 years, Started an ascending kiln in Renkoji in Tama in 1975 and became independent. Since being selected for the Issuikai Exhibition in 1967 and 1968, activities mainly involve private exhibitions. Held the Tama Ceramic Society Exhibition at the Matsuya in Ginza. Held the Kiln Exhibition at Kakiden Gallery. Held the Tama Ceramic Exhibition at the Daimaru in Hachioji. Held private exhibitions at the Green Gallery in Aoyama, the Odakyu in Shinjuku, and other venues. Held the 5th and 10th Anniversary of Opening Commemoration Exhibitions at Tamashin Gallery. Works focus on Shigaraki ware, Karatsu ware, and Hagi-yu glaze.
