Graduated from the Faculty of Engineering Department of Architecture at Hosei University. Qualified architect of the first class. Sought to make ceramics through self-education in 1974. Uniquely constructed a studio and downdraft oil kiln in 1978. Selected for the Fukuoka Prefectural Exhibition, Seibu Craft Art Exhibition, and West Japan Ceramic Exhibition. Unaffiliated. Works focus on Dobai-yu tree ash glazes.
