From Mori, Shizuoka. Studied under his father Seizan and carried on the family business. Worked on Moriyama ware with tiger stripe patterns and Kizeto ware. Felt the essence of craft are when Hamada Shoji and Yanagi Soetsu visited the kiln and reevaluated the old Shitoro ware. Selected for the Asahi Ceramic Exhibition, Prefectural Exhibition, and other exhibitions and won awards.
