Graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Doshisha University. Graduated from the Kyoto Ceramic Training Institute. Later started Komi kiln in Higashichikuma, Nagano. Selected for the Japan Traditional Craft Art Exhibition, New Work Exhibition, Kokuten Exhibition, Asahi Ceramic Exhibition, Japan Ceramic Exhibition, and other exhibitions. Unaffiliated. Created works using inlay work, brush marks, Kohiki, Yakishime, and painting.
