From Kyoto. Graduated from the Graduate School of Ceramics at Tokyo University of the Arts. Studied under Fujimoto Yoshimichi, Tamura Koichi, and Asano Akira. Selected for and won awards at the Japan Traditional Craft Art Exhibition and other exhibitions. Held a private exhibition at the Kandori gallery in Kioicho. Official member of the Japan Kogei Association.
