Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, majoring in ceramics and traditional arts. Built a kiln in 1983. Selected for the Japanese Traditional Crafts Exhibition and New Works Exhibition. Solo exhibitions at Ginza Matsuzakaya, Akasaka Inui G, Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi, Aoyama Tourindou, others. Primarily focused on fukizumi, celadon, and blue-white ceramics.
