Born in Nagasaki prefecture. Completed art school at Tama Art University in 1974. Became an assistant in the Department of Ceramics in 1983 at the same university. Later worked independently. Selected for the Japan Ceramics Exhibition and the Chunichi International Exhibition. Solo exhibition at Seibu Shibuya. Primarily focused on green glaze.
