Grandson of Kiyomizu Rokubey V. Graduated from ceramics studies at the Kyoto Municipal Institute of Industrial Technology. Introduced to Yagi Kazuo. Starting in 1968, participated in new craft-based ceramics. Winner of a prize at the Kyoto Craft Exhibition.
