Graduated from Mito Junior High School. Graduated from Kyoto Traditional Craft High School. Studied under Itaya Hazan. Selected for the Japan Modern Ceramic Art Exhibition and Japan Fine Arts Exhibition. Member and judge of the Kofukai Art Association. Member of the Japan New Craft Art Association. Member of the Ibaraki Prefectural Art Festival Committee. Representative member of the Ibaraki Craft Art Committee. Held private exhibitions at the Mitsukoshi in Nihombashi, the Daimaru in Tokyo, and other venues. Works focus on yakishime and kohiki.
