Studied under his father, the 1st generation Chikushun. Became independent in Gojo-zaka in 1961. First selected for the Japanese Traditional Craft Art Exhibition in 1965. Formed a clay association. Held private exhibitions at Kochukyo Gallery and other venues. Official member of the Japan Craft Art Association.
