From Tokyo. Trained at Echizen Pottery Village in Fukui. Graduated from the Ibaraki Prefectural Ceramic Training Institute in 1980 and started a kiln in Kasama. Selected for the Japanese Traditional Craft Art Exhibition, Exhibition of New Works of Traditional Craft Art, Musashino Exhibition, and Craft Exhibition. Won the Kasama Ceramic Exhibition Honorable Mention Award and other awards. Held private exhibitions at Binro Gallery in Mashiko and Ohashi Hall in Yurakucho. Works focus on nerikomi, yakishime, and Hai-yu ash glaze.
