Comes from a notable family of Akazu ware. Grandfather is Josuke, and father is Sho. Graduated from Tamagawa University. Won Special Selection at the Japan Fine Arts Exhibition. Won the Japan New Craft Art Award. Won the Chunichi International Exhibition of Ceramic Arts Minister of Education’s Award and numerous other awards. Member of the Japan New Craft Art Association. Works focus on purple ceramics, Kurogesho, and Mishimade.
