Studied under Kozan first and produced pottery. Made mainly hand-made teapots with red and yellow clay at the Tokoen pottery shop. He was a member of the Tokoname Tezukuri Kyusu no Kai (hand made pottery in Tokoname ware) and the Japan Sencha Craft Association.
