He has been a potter since 1959. He won the Grand Prize at the National Youth Art Exhibition, the Governor’s Prize at the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition, the Special Prize at the Chunichi International Ceramic Art Exhibition, and others. Selected for the Nitten exhibition. Exhibited at many overseas exhibitions of the Japan Contemporary Arts Exhibition. A member of the Japan Artisans’ Association. Mainly works with objects.
