Real name is Kataoka Sadamitsu. He is the second generation of Yamaaki-Seito pottery studio and has been calling himself “Ko-Shosen (means small Shosen)” since 1985.
After the death of the founder of Yamaaki Seito, Juodo-Shosen I, Sadamitsu assumed the name “Shosen”.
Unfortunately, Yamaaki Seito went out of business in 2013 during the third generation Shosen.
