Trained in Mashiko. Built the kiln in Chiba Prefecture in 1973. Awarded prizes at the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition and the Chunichi International Ceramic Art Exhibition and other exhibitions. Solo exhibitions at Gallery Neko, Mitsukoshi, Machida Tokyu and others. Mainly performs neriage, carbonization, and ash glaze. Regular member of the Japan Kogei association.
