Moving to Kyoto at the age of 10, Kano Shokoku received ceramic making training from Kiyomizu Rokubey V, and went on to hone his skills on his own, eventually being officially designated as an artist whose contributions should be preserved for prosperity in 1941 for his adept depictions of good omens
When examining his style, we note that there are some pottery pieces among his early works, but he focused most heavily on the production of porcelain ware.
