Third son of Sozan. Dropped out of Musashino Art University. Returned home in 1975 and studied under his father. Formed the Deainokai association with Kitade Kotaro of Kutani ware and Kawai Toru of folk ceramics in 1982. Held private exhibitions in Okayama and the Takashimaya in Nihombashi. Works focus on kohiki and Karatsu ware, in addition to Bizen ware.
