Eldest son of Sozan. Graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture at Kyoto University. Later studied under his father and made ceramics. Succeeded the Enzan kiln in 1982. Held private exhibitions at Nihombashi and the Takashimaya in Okayama. Held a two-artist exhibition with his brother at Kochukyo in Nihombashi. Works focus on the spinning lathe. Pursues splendid Bizen ware with the Hidasuki technique and sheen.
