Studied under his father Seiho. Selected for the first time at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition in 1971. Awarded the Branch Manager’s Prize and the Honorable Mention at the East China Branch Exhibition of the Japan Art Crafts Association, the Mayor’s Prize at the Bi-gei Exhibition, and the Honorable Mention at the Okayama Prefectural Exhibition. Solo exhibitions include Okayama Prefecture Maruzen, Osaka Kintetsu, Nagoya Meitetsu, Ikebukuro Seibu, and others. He is a regular member of the Japan Kogei association.
