Graduated from the design department of Saga Prefectural Arita Industrial School. Joined the prefecture’s Ceramics Institute. Founded the Kodashi Tadashi kiln in 1973. Participates in local exhibitions, etc. Specializes in kohiki, zougan, hakeme, and iron glazing.
