Creates kohiki and tessai at the Hitori kiln. After winning the Fukuoka prefectural exhibition in 1964, he has won several awards and exhibitions, such as the Kokugakai Exhibition and the Issuikai Ceramics Exhibition. Has been branch director of the Japan Ceramics Association and a teacher of the ceramics course at the TNC West Japan Cultural Circle. Has held personal exhibitions at several locations, including the Fukuoka branch of the Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan, the Nishitetsu Grand Hotel in Fukuoka, the Tamaya department store, and Nic.
