1985 Graduated from Saga Art College

1986 Graduated from Seto Ceramic Vocational Training School, and started his career as a ceramic artist in Tamba Tachikake

1998 Awarded the Daikakuji Prize at the 6th Flower Pottery Exhibition

1999 Awarded the Kobe Newspaper Prize at the Prefectural Exhibition.

2000 Awarded Hyogo Prefecture Art Encouragement Prize.

2003 Awarded the 32nd Japan Traditional Crafts Kinki Exhibition, Newcomer Encouragement Prize

2004 Itami International Craft Exhibition, Hakusetsu Sake Eitai Kakucho Prize.

2007 Kobe Biennale “Contemporary Ceramic Art Exhibition”, Special Jury Prize.

Member of Hyogo Crafts Artists Association and regular member of Japan Kogei Association.

He has won prizes at many other public exhibitions and has held solo exhibitions at department stores nationwide, including the Hankyu Umeda department store.
