Born in Mitsuke, Niigata. Graduated from Ritsumeikan University. From 1974 to 1980, he submitted every year to the Soudeisha Exhibition. Japan Ceramic Arts Exhibition Minister of Education Award. Japan Exhibition of Modern Best Art Award of Excellence. Held solo exhibitions at Kyoto G Iteza and more. Active outside of Japan, including the Contemporary Japan Sculpture Exhibition in Geneva. Black pottery, sculpture.
