Born in Tokyo, Japan
1973 Graduated from Sophia University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Philosophy
1979 Resigned from Bizen Toen and joined “Aioi Grand Kiln” of Mori Togaku.
1981 Built a half-ground kiln with a direct flame, first firing in January of the following year
1986 Held a solo exhibition at Tekona in Nagoya (held every other year), and was selected for the Issuikai Ceramic Art Exhibition (1992).
1987 Awarded the ” Glossary of Art” Prize at the Issuikai Prize for Encouragement at the Issuikai Ceramic Art Exhibition, and held a solo exhibition at the Arai Gallery in Ginza.
1988 Issuikai Prize for fine work at the Issuikai Prize for Ceramic Art Exhibition, held a solo exhibition at Kuroda Toen, Ginza, Tokyo (1990).
1990 Exhibition of ”Bowls” at Green Gallery, Minami Aoyama, Tokyo (199) (1991).
1991 Solo exhibition at Mitsukoshi Department Store, Tokyo (1994)
Awarded the Commemorative Prize at the Yakishime Pottery Exhibition.
1993 Invited to exhibit at the Asahi Modern Craft Exhibition
1994 Completed the 21-meter kiln and fired for the first time.
1996 Held a solo exhibition at “Ko” in Minami Aoyama (held annually)
1997 Held a solo exhibition at Tachiyoshi, Kyoto
1998 Held a solo exhibition at Zuigama, Tokyo (2002)
