Born in Yokkaichi. His father is Shiko. Studied under Tsuji Mitsunori, a lacquer artist. After serving as a councilor and a member of the Society for Contemporary Art and Design, he is now independent. Awarded the Craftwork Prize at the Kofu-kai Exhibition, and the Mr. H Prize. Awarded the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition’s First Special Prize. Mie Prefecture Governor’s Award. Awarded the Commissioner of the Patent Office Prize at the Wade Ceramics Design Exhibition. Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition and others. Mie Prefecture Cultural Honorable Mention. Group Exhibition, Nitten Gallery, Ginza, Tokyo; Master and Student Exhibition with Tsuji Mitsunori at Okura Gallery, Tokyo. Yokkaichi Culture Hall, Yokkaichi Municipal Hospital ceramic wall. Tea ceremony utensils and other objects, mainly ceramic Tatara (slab building) walls. Judged at the prefectural exhibition and the city exhibition.
