Born in the town of Mashiko. In 1971, he trained at Tochigi Prefecture Pottery Training Department and Research Department. He went independent and established his own kiln in 1977. He won nominations for the Prefecture Art Exhibition Fair Award and the New Traditional Craft Exhibition.
