Furuse Gyozo 古瀬堯三

The eldest son of the Akahada-ware Sixth generation Jihee (Gyozan the Second). Graduated from the Kyoto University of the Arts Craft Ceramics department. Studied under Tomimoto Kenkichi and Kondo Yuzo. In 1968, he succeeded to the name of Gyozo the Third (Akahada-ware Seventh generation Jihee). Accepted and awarded in various exhibitions including the Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition. Mainly works with ash glaze with an ascending kiln.
