From Kesenuma, Miyagi Prefecture. Graduated from Miyagikenritsu High School and Wako University Department of Art. Trained in Mashiko in 1975. Next year, went back to his hometown, built a kiln and became independent. Studied under Kamoda Shoji. Placed in Japan Traditional Kogei Exhibition, New Work Exhibition, JAPAN CERAMIC ART EXHIBITION and Chunichi international exhibition of ceramic arts. Presented his works at Ginza Toshin Gallery and Michinoku Ceramics Exhibition at Ginza Mitsukoshi Department. Mainly work with inlay work.
