His real first name is Mamoru. Studied under his father, the first Ichiraku. Started making ceramics in 1973 and took the name of the second generation Ichiraku at the same time as Hatsugama (first burn in that kiln) in 1980. Specialized in square flower vases, pail and flower vases. Scorched surface coloring fire marks and Shioyaki (burn with salt).
