Born as the 1st son of the 3rd generation Fujiwara Rakuzan of Bizen ware. Graduated from the Faculty of Sculpture at Musashino Art University in 1993.
Studied under his grandfather, the 2nd generation Rakuzan, and his father, the 3rd generation Rakuzan, and won the Nissin Foods Modern Ceramic Noodle Bowl Grand Prize in 1995. Later selected for the Okayama Prefectural Art Exhibition, Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition Chugoku Branch, and other exhibitions.
