Graduated from Taipei Normal School. In 1952, he devoted himself to the education of visually impaired children, and built a kiln in Shishibuse, Kagawa Prefecture, where he started Raku ware. Actively held pottery product exhibitions centered on the Ginza Kuroda kiln.
