Kutani potter born as the 1st son of Fujimura Hoshu. Majored in Japanese Painting at Kanazawa College of Art. Later entered the National Nagoya Industrial Experimental Institute and after thoroughly researching ceramics, studied overglaze under his father Hoshu. Exhibited and selected for the Nitten Exhibition, Asahi Ceramic Exhibition, Modern Exhibition, and others. Selected for the Issuikai Ceramic Division.
