Born in Kashima-gun, Ishikawa Prefecture. Graduated from the Western-style painting department of Kanazawa College of Art, and began studying blue and white dyeing in 1970. He was selected for the Western-style painting division of the Issui-kai Exhibition 13 times in a row. Awarded the Hokuriku Art Exhibition. Received the Ishikawa Prefectural Governor’s Prize at the Wajima City Exhibition and the Honorable Mention Award at the Contemporary Art Exhibition. Honorable Mention, Issui-kai Exhibition. Selected for the Creative Art Exhibition and others. He is a member of Sozobijutsu-kai. Mainly works with overglaze enamels, blue and white, iron glaze.
