Born in Kanagawa Prefecture. Graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Became independent in Mashiko in 1974. Selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition and others. Solo exhibitions at Ikebukuro Seibu Department Store and others. Painted in overglaze enamels and blue and white.
