Born in Asahikawa City, Hokkaido. In 1972, she decided to become a potter and trained at Asahikawa Keisetsu Kiln. She has been awarded prizes at the All Hokkaido Art Association Exhibition and the Japan Traditional Crafts New Work Exhibition. Exhibited at Sapporo Mitsukoshi Department Store and Asahikawa Marui Department Store. Member of the All Hokkaido Art Association, the Tokyo Branch of Japan Kogei Association, and the Hokkaido Ceramic Society. Creates Japanese tableware and decorative ware mainly using Oribe, ash glaze, Kizeto, and overglaze enamels.
