Fujinami Yasuhiro 藤波康浩

1936-maleFrom Tokyo. Successor in the family business and aimed to make pottery. From 1954, started training and made pottery in Tokoname, Shigaraki and Yachi kiln. Fujinaga Atsumu 藤永敦

1929-?malemashiko potteryFrom Naruto, Tokushima Prefecture. Graduated from Kyoto Institute of Technology Ceramics Department. Became a staff member of Tochigi Prefecture Ceramics Guidance Center and was in charge of design. In 1976, Built a kiln and became independent in Mashiko. Mainly works with cutting edge decorations. Fujinaga Shiko 藤永志光

1938-maleFrom Nagoya. Had admiration for Kitaoji Rosanjin and aspired to make ceramics. In 1965, dedicated Buddha sculpture in Kamakura, learned from Tamaki Yasuo and Kato Seizo in Mino, studied Koyama Yasuhisa in Shigaraki, moreover, trained at Morimoto Toukoku kiln in Tamba. Later, attracted to Honami Kosen in Chigasaki, then, became an apprentice of Watanabe Isshin in Kakio, Kawasaki. In 1972, became independent. (more…)

Fujita Ryohei 藤田良平

1935-maleFrom Ise, Mie Prefecture. In 1976 when his climacteric year, 42 years old, studied under Okuda Yasuhiro of Ise Shrine Kiln. In 1977, aimed at revival of Nansei old kiln, built a kiln and named Isero Kiln. Placed in ASAHI CERAMIC ART EXHIBITION, Japan Traditional Kogei Exhibition and Tokai Traditional Kogei Exhibition. Fujita Keiho 藤田佳峰

1933-?malebizen potteryHer actual name is Taeko. From Shoou-cho, Katsuta District, Okayama Prefecture. Completed Bizen Togei Center. In 1971, fired the kiln for first time. The second female artist in Bizen Crafts World. Placed in Okayama Prefecture Art Exhibition, Traditional Kogei East Chugoku Branch Exhibition and Women’s Association of Ceramic Art Exhibition. In 1976, trained at Korakuen kiln of Okayama Bizen-ware. Next year, came back to hometown and built a kiln and opened Hiko-ware kiln on Hikosan.
