Furumatsu Atsushi 古松淳志

1973-maleBorn in Kanagawa Prefecture 1996 Graduated from Kyoto University, Faculty of Agriculture, studied under Yoshida Akira 2005 Became independent in Minami-Izu Town, Kamo-gun, Shizuoka Prefecture 2012 Completed a split bamboo climbing kiln, held first solo exhibition at Flame Color Field, and since then held solo exhibitions in various locations. After graduating from Kyoto University, he became fascinated with old pottery and studied under the late Yoshida Akira, famous for his Yi Dynasty pottery. Fujikasa Satoko 藤笠砂都子

1980-femaleShe was born Yamaguchi, Japan, he graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 2007 with a degree in ceramics. She has participated in solo exhibitions at the Mitsukoshi Department Store in Nihonbashi, the 19th MOA Mokichi Okada Award Exhibition, and Art Fair Tokyo 2014. She has been working on dynamic and organic works, building a world that can only be expressed by the plasticity of clay. Niisato Akio 新里明士

1977-maleBorn in Chiba, Japan. Graduated from Tajimi City Institute of Ceramic Design. Currently based in Gifu Prefecture.He has attracted domestic and international attention for his contemporary designs using a technique called “Hotarude,” in which a hole is drilled in the white porcelain material formed on a wheel, the hole is covered with a transparent glaze, and then fired to reveal a pattern that is permeable to light. Tsuri Mitsuho 釣光穂

1991-femaleTsuri Mitsuho was born in Hyogo, Japan, graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts in 2014 with a B.F.A. in Ceramics, Crafts, Kyoto City University of Arts, M.F.A. in 2004, and joined Utatsuyama Craft Studio in Kanazawa, Japan in 2005. He observes the containers he sees in the everyday world and transforms them into unique woven ceramic “vessels.
