Born in Tottori Prefecture. Graduated from Yazu High School. Entered Bizen with the intention of becoming a potter. Under the tutelage of Iwamoto Shuichi in 1974 and received training at the Ceramic Art Center in 1976. Married Nanba Akira’s eldest son (Nanba Kaname) in 1979. She exhibited at the prefectural exhibition.
